The oldest primate ever in history is called Cheeta the chimpanzee. He was an actor who appeared in Tarzan films in the 1930s and 1940s.
Cheeta was born in the year 1932 in Liberia West Africa. In April that same year he was brought by Tony Gentry to the USA.
He enjoyed his retirement in Palm Springs, USA after a successful acting career.
In December 2011,he passed away at the age of 80 years.
